Facing Challenges during „The Last 300“ Expedition

2041 Foundation & Climate Force

60 minutes with Robert and Barney Swan +++ Session in English+++

Join polar explorers Robert Swan, OBE and son Barney Swan as they share stories of their most recent expeditions across the Antarctic. This father son team highlights challenges and triumphs, teamwork and leadership, and perseverance amidst what
might seem impossible. Robert reflects on how, what started as a dream at the age of eleven-years-old, turned into a 50-year mission to preserve the Antarctic as he became the first man in history to walk to both the North and the South Poles. Barney reveals how growing up in the Australian Rainforest and completing the world’s first polar expedition powered solely by renewable energy inspired him to become an influential leader in the fight against climate change. Robert and Barney explain how you can
become actively involved in creating a more sustainable future and protecting our planet.
